Welcome to Cushion Grip and I would like to thank you for taking the time to stop by.
Have you ever wished that there was an easy, affordable, and comfortable way to wear dentures? I know I have been trying to do this for the past year myself. I have not enjoyed the pain involved while I wear these things, but I guess you and I know that in order to eat that great food we like, it’s a lot easier when we are wearing our dentures. Pretty tough to gum a great steak out in public isn’t it. And don’t you just hate it when you bite into something, and before you can finish chewing it, you have to reach into your mouth to get your teeth back into place so you can finish eating! Man is that embarrassing.
I have tried the denture creams, but they have not been the perfect solution, and seem to lose their grip after a few hours, and then I have to reapply the cream to get them to stay in place. And now there have been some studies showing that some of these creams might be dangerous to us wearers, as they might have too much zinc in them.
The potential risk of denture cream zinc poisoning has finally been acknowledged by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA). In a letter dated February 23, the agency has asked denture cream manufacturers to take steps to mitigate the risk of zinc poisoning from their products. The FDA also writes that it is considering issuing a communication on its website to warn consumers and health care providers about the possible risk of neurological injuries from excessive use of zinc-containing denture cream.
While searching for a better solution to keep my teeth where they’re supposed to be, and wanting to get rid of the discomfort while wearing them, I ran across a product that might be the solution we’ve all been looking for. It is CUSHION GRIP, a thermoplastic adhesive. I won’t bore you with the scientific explanation of this product, but I would suggest you check it out to see if this might be what you are looking for.
